VaiNet: A Wireless Technology That Rises Above Crowded Frequencies

Source: Vaisala, Inc.

In this webinar we discuss how advances in wireless technologies are changing the way environments are monitored, especially in regulated environments. We also introduce Vaisala’s VaiNet wireless technology.

The emergence of the Internet of Things has allowed the development of wireless technologies that ensure reliable, resilient signal strength. These new technologies are allowing GxP-regulated industries to use wireless data loggers in applications without the typical risks of wireless connections: intermittent connections, lost data, and security risks.

Launching in late 2016, Vaisala’s VaiNet wireless system uses these new wireless technologies to provide the flexibility and freedom of wireless with levels of security and reliability normally associated with trusted wired connections. Along with the ability to reliably send signals for over 100m without signal boosters, the VaiNet system features a self-healing low-frequency network. The system’s simple topology, autonomous devices, and minimal infrastructure create a resilient and reliable monitoring system.

In this webinar we discuss how advances in wireless technologies are changing the way environments are monitored, especially in regulated environments. We will outline some key differences between wireless monitoring systems, reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of each.
