Vented Balance Safety Enclosure

The company's VBSE (2000 Series) containment systems are well-engineered ventilation systems for working with hazardous, biological, pathological and chemical materials.

Each engineered unit is designed with special airfoils (in front), and unique plenums (in the rear) to smooth out air flow to prevent turbulence inside the chamber. Turbulence affects the operation of top loading, analytical, semi-micro and especially microbalances. By eliminating air turbulence, even the lightest powders can be weighed without exposing the operator or losing a compound.

Each system allows maximum lighting so operators can get close to the balance for exacting detail. Our ergonomic design also allows operators to perform lengthy procedures without physical strain.

The systems are available with a durable fan/filter unit that is separate from the chamber to eliminate noise and vibration which might impact the balance.

30 Models are available from .6 to 1.5 meters (2 to 5 feet) in length.

Basic models are 49.5 cm (19½ in.) tall, with 76.2 cm (30 in.) models available when a larger size is needed. White or black dished, chemical resistant bases are available. White or clear plenums are also available. Each system is designed for a corrosion free lifetime of operation.
