Vision And Quality Control Systems

The vision systems on IMA machines provide cutting-edge technology to guarantee precision and quality in pharmaceutical packaging. High resolution control systems are integrated in IMA machines. These systems, 21CFR Part 11 compliant, use "intelligent" cameras able to carry out complex image analyzing operations as well as offering a unique service. Besides regular checks like product/leaflet presence controls, print check, barcode reading on blister, leaflet and carton the control systems nowadays have been extended to the whole production process. The appropriate checks start already on the blister machine at every critical stage such as material forming, feeding or sealing. It is then carried through the whole cartoning, labelling and overwrapping processes until the palletizing stages.
