The heart of the filling machine consists of one or more metering units fitted in a pneumatic ascent/descent system, with an anti-drop device. If no container is present the metering cylinder down strokes are inhibited, thus preventing product spillage.
Product contact parts are in AISI 316 stainless steels. All surface and connecting elements are smooth without spaces in which organic material may be trapped. The filler tap is designed to reduce projecting parts, edges and inside corners to the minimum. Product contact parts can be sanitized and easily disassembled (the filler tap, in particular). There is no possibility for infiltration of liquids or airborne powders from the outside (oils, greases, detergents, etc.).
