The Walter G. LEGGE Co., Inc. - referred to today as LEGGE SYSTEMS, was founded in 1928 and incorporated in New York City in 1936 by Walter G LEGGE, a remarkable and innovative man. After establishing an extensive line of maintenance materials, Walter G. LEGGE pioneered the development of slip resistant floor finishes and maintenance products registered by UL. In fact, the very first product to ever be listed with UL for slip resistance was FLOORSHINE R20 in the late 1930s.

A demand for static control products, principally in hospital operating rooms, led to the development and patenting of a complete line of body grounding devices, conductive and static dissipative coatings. LEGGE SYSTEMS became one of the first manufacturers to introduce an extensive line of static control products and today that tradition continues. As new products were developed our services were expanded to include other industries. Aerospace and electronic as well as communication and computer industries benefit from a well thought out and applied static control program. The LEGGE Company has the capability to design, manufacture and alter existing models to customer specifications.

Our corporate offices are located in Westchester County, New York- 50 miles north of New York City. We combine manufacturing, marketing, research and product development with customer relations and order departments to offer the maximum in customer service and satisfaction. With distribution points nationwide our company logo appropriately reads "YOU ALWAYS HAVE LEGGE TO STAND ON."
