Watts Industries to Acquire Hoke Inc.

Watts Industries Inc. (North Andover, MA) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Hoke Inc. (Cresskill, NJ), a privately held manufacturer of industrial valves and fittings. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in July, have not been disclosed.

Hoke sells its miniaturized pressure regulators, needle valves, metering valves, ball valves, plug valves and Gyrolok tube fittings primarily to the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, industrial, OEM and analytical instrumentation markets.

Timothy P. Horne, Watt's CEO, said that Hoke would be closely allied with Watts' Circle Seal Controls Division (Corona, CA) and KF Industries (Oklahoma City, OK).

Watts Industries Inc. designs, manufactures and sells valves for the plumbing and heating, water quality, industrial, and oil and gas markets.
