Weigh Batching and Blending System Brochure

"Gain-in-weight" batching systems convey ingredients from any source such as bulk bags, silos, manual dumping stations or other process equipment. A controller starts and stops each conveyor in sequence, based on weight gain of the receiving vessel, then actuates a valve to discharge the batch directly into a blender, process equipment, or any other vessel.
"Bulk bag loss-of-weight" systems convey bulk ingredients from individual bulk bag weigh batch dischargers, each with load cells, to a central receiving vessel which is positioned above a blender, reactor, or other process equipment. A controller starts and stops the conveyor of each bulk bag weigh batch discharger based on the amount of weight lost, then actuates a valve to discharge the batch directly into a blender or any other vessel.
Both systems handle a diversity of free- and non-free-flowing materials – from products that pack, cake, bridge, smear, or fluidize to those that separate – at the high rates required for fast batching cycles, as well as the steady dribble feed rates needed for highly accurate weighments.
