In November 2017, the next phase of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) goes into effect, which requires pharmaceutical manufacturers to mark their products with a National Drug Code (NDC), serial number, lot number, and expiration date in both machine-readable and human-readable format. If they do not, distributors will not accept their product(s). So what should you expect when it comes to preparing for the next phase of DSCSA, and, most importantly, is it too late?
