A Closer Look At Inspection Systems In Tablet And Capsule Production
Walk through the rigorous inspection process pharmaceutical products undergo to ensure safety and quality, from granulated ingredients to packaging. The process starts with raw ingredients being processed and inspected for metal fragments using a metal detector. The detector utilizes a free fall system designed to resist interference from vibration and noise. Capsules are then weighed before and after filling to ensure consistency. Post-formation, products are again passed through a metal detector and checkweigher for additional safety measures. Once packaged, the products are inspected using an X-ray machine to detect foreign materials and quality defects. The final stages of production involve two more checkweighers to identify any missing blisters or cartons. These multiple inspection systems help prevent contamination and ensure the efficacy of the pharmaceutical products.
