DALE NATOLI

Dr. Dale Natoli is President of Natoli Engineering Company, Inc., the recognized global leader in tablet compression tooling. With almost 50 years of experience in the industry, Dr. Natoli has contributed to books and authored numerous technical articles for major pharmaceutical publications. He was selected to chair the Steering Committee for the American Pharmacists Association’s Tablet Specification Manual. He lectures at universities, pharmaceutical associations and tablet manufacturers worldwide. Dr. Natoli holds an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Science, from Long Island University, a rare distinction in the field of Industrial Pharmacy.


ROBERT SEDLOCK

Mr. Sedlock is the Director of Natoli Scientific. He is a leading expert in the tablet compression industry with over 20 years of experience and has authored numerous technical articles for Pharmaceutical Technology and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Mr. Sedlock is responsible for global solid dosage customer support, training seminars, contract compression services and continuous research.


BILL TURNER

Mr. Turner is the Technical Service Manager for the Tooling and Tablets division at Natoli Engineering Company, Inc. With over 40 years in the industry, all of it with Natoli, Mr. Turner’s previous positions included tablet designer, tool designer, and hob manufacturing. He served as Engineering Manager for 20 years and a Technical Customer Service Representative for 15 years. He educates and trains Natoli sales and service staff and conducts industry training seminars regarding tablet design, tool design, and troubleshooting of tablet designs and tooling.


TONY CARPANZANO B.S., R.Ph.

Mr. Carpanzano worked in pharmaceutical product development for 32 years, having held positions in liquids formulation, pre-formulation, exploratory development, technical services and clinical manufacturing, with a major focus on advanced solid dosage form and modified-release dosage form development. He holds patents on modified-release technologies and abuse-resistant / abuse-deterrent technologies. He has worked in companies including Richardson-Vicks, Procter & Gamble, generic companies, Schein and Copley Pharmaceutical, Purdue Pharma and Penwest, and has spent the last four years working in the excipents industry for JRS Pharma, LP, as Director of R&D. He is also a licensed pharmacist.


AL FRIEDRICH

Mr. Friedrich is the National Sales Manager for Alexanderwerk Inc. His background has been extensively in the powder processing industry focusing on blending, drying, milling, separation, CIP/SIP systems and dry granulation technology. Mr. Friedrich has a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA from Rutgers University. At Alexanderwerk, his focus is on sales and development work in the technical center for the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries.


ED J. GODEK

Mr. Godek, Manager of Process Technology, is Glatt Air Techniques’ prime technical resource for process technology. Mr. Godek conducts training sessions and provides process support and troubleshooting for Glatt customers. He speaks at industry seminars and has written articles for industry publications about Glatt technology. Mr. Godek, is also involved with the development and assessment of new process equipment for Glatt. Mr. Godek has over 29 years of experience working directly in the area of fluid bed processing in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Godek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College.


JOHN CIASULLI

Mr. Ciasulli is the VP of Sales / GM for Frewitt USA, Inc. He has always possessed a strong mechanical aptitude which came in handy when he started his first of many summers working at his father’s auto repair shop at the age of 15. Through his various positions at top end capital equipment companies, he has been involved in powder milling and complete process equipment selection since 1990. He has extensive hands on experience in lab trials, machine selection, field start-up, trouble shooting and optimization.


JOHN NADZAM

Mr. Nadzam is currently the North American lead for OSD equipment and novel technologies for Global Technical Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Mr. Nadzam has 25+ years of industry experience in formulation development, scale-up, validation, equipment qualification, and process startup. He has led equipment design and installation in North America, Puerto Rico, and China. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate for pushing new, effective, and practical technologies to the shop floor. Building off his degree in chemistry, experience as a machinist, and 6-sigma black belt training, Mr. Nadzam’s goal is to make work as uneventful as possible for the operators.
