The Kikusui AQUARIUS G-J Tablet Press with DC Module is a high-speed, multifunctional rotary press engineered for demanding pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production. Outfitted with 36 B-type keyed stations and 10-ton pre and main compression rollers, it offers the flexibility to operate in Regular Mode for high-volume tablet manufacturing or in DC Mode (Dry Coating) for advanced tablet-in-tablet production.
In Regular Mode, the machine achieves output rates up to 259,200 tablets per hour at 120 RPM, making it ideal for large-scale single-layer tablet runs. When configured in DC Mode, it produces complex core-in-shell tablets at rates up to 86,400 tablets per hour, with step-by-step setup guidance provided through the operator interface terminal.
A 4kW motor powers the system, and turret/module changeover is quick and tool-less thanks to its modular design. With stainless steel 316L construction and support for turret changeability, the AQUARIUS G-J balances speed, precision, and flexibility on a compact footprint.
